Iyana represented  Theta Mu Mu, an unincorporated chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.  in the 2023 Second District  Talent Hunt.  She is  a 17 year old senior at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology.  Iyana has been dancing since the age of 8 years old under the leadership of Lakeshia Johnson.   Iyana boldly states " Dance is her voice and she can no longer remain silence. Iyana believes that dance has the power to inspire, heal , motivate and push you into your destiny. She often says" Dance has the power to resonate with your soul.  Iyana, deepest desire is to always tell a story when she performs. Most importantly, she wants her audience to experience healing, love, and motivation.  Iyana loves volunteering and  mentoring the youth in her community.   Iyana, has attended Alvin Ailey Summer intensive this past summer  and as she prepare for graduation, she wants to walk fully into the  purpose that God has for her.
